The flame tamer that is expandable and therefore universal – suitable for multiple models of gas BBQ/ braai. Expands from 300mm to 420mm. Shipping Dimensions: 300 x 100 x 37.6mm. Material: Stainless steel. What does it do? A flame tamer acts as a barrier between the burners and the cooking surface. Shielding: It shields burners from damaged cause by dripping fat, sauces, and marinades on the grill. Flame taming: Prevent flare-ups or at least keep them to a minimum when fat drips off the meat. Heat Spreader: Help spread the burners heat across the cooking surface for a more even cooking experience. Flavour: Create flavour by catching the extra drippings and converting them to smoke and sending them back up into the meat.
