Without even lifting your braai grid off the fire, the patented Flip ‘n Braai allows you to flip your grid from one side to the other with ease for your convenience. What do we mean? Basically, it means that thanks to the Flip ‘n Braai, braaing is now Flip ‘n easy! But in a nutshell: The Flip ‘n Braai works similar to the conventional rotisserie & comes in two parts: the sturdy collapsible frame and our custom-made high-quality stainless steel sealable grid. Once the frame is set up, the grid with its short extension rod fits perfectly in the middle thanks to two notches present at either end. Metal ears present on one side the grid rest on the frame and lock it in to prevent it from flipping over. To flip the grid, simply pull it towards yourself so that the metal ears no longer rest on the frame, flip the grid, and push the grid toward the frame so that the ears once again rest on it and balance the grid. Designed to specifically fit the ironically South Africa “half-drum”, the Half-Drum Braai fits into any standard and has four grids which make it ideal for use at occasions catering for many people.
