Description
A Kreepy Krauly Multiport Valve Rotor is the internal rotating component inside a Kreepy Krauly (Quality/QP) multiport valve. It’s the part that physically redirects the water flow to the different settings—such as Filter, Backwash, Rinse, Waste, Recirculate, and Closed—depending on where the handle is positioned.
Here’s what it does, in simple terms:
The rotor sits inside the valve body and seals against the gasket.
When you move the handle, the rotor turns and opens/closes specific water channels.
This allows the filter to switch between its functions without needing to disconnect any pipes.
A worn rotor often causes leaks, pressure loss, or water bypass inside the filter.
