Description
MEDPET Longstim is a synergistic antibiotic combination formulated for the treatment of Mycoplasmosis and a wide range of other bacterial infections in pigeons and cage birds. The combination of Amoxycillin trihydrate and Tylosin tartrate has proven highly effective in the treatment and prevention of upper respiratory tract infections, including Mycoplasmosis and conditions commonly referred to as “slime-in-the-throat”. Extremely safe to use, Longstim may also be administered routinely once per month during the racing season as a preventative measure against upper respiratory diseases. It is not effective against Chlamydia psittaci (Psittacosis/Ornithosis), for which Doxybiotic should be used. Contains: Amoxycillin trihydrate 5% m/m and Tylosin tartrate 10% m/m. Sizes: 200g
