- The normal shelf life for Montego Karoo Adult dog food is 8 months from the date of manufacture
- After 2 to 3 months there are no problems with the food

- The open bag can be placed in a plastic drum or container in the garage, kitchen or scullery
- The moisture in the floor can migrate into the bag and cause mould
