Description
Simparica is a long lasting flea and tick treatment for dogs. It starts killing fleas within 3 hours of administration and kills 96% fleas within 8 hours. The chewable kills adult fleas before they lay eggs for 35 days. The oral treatment destroys ticks and further prevents tick infestations. The effectiveness of Simparica lasts longer and reduces the chances of future flea infestations. The chew reduces the incidences of flea allergy dermatitis. The flavored chew is easy to dose and highly palatable. Suitable for dogs weighing between 40.1 – 60 kg. Brown box, 3 tablets 120 mg each. Simparica contains Sarolaner as an active ingredient, which belongs to isoxazoline class of parasiticides. The active ingredient is well absorbed and starts working within few hours. It disturbs the function of the nerve cells, and works at the neuromuscular junction in insects. This results in uncontrolled neuromuscular activity leading to death of insects or acarines. The effectiveness starts in 3 hours after initial administration. Simparica is given orally directly through mouth. Can be offered through mouth or mix it with the food. Can also be administered like other table medications. Ensure that the dog takes the complete dosage. Administer it on the monthly basis. Kills adult fleas and controls flea population. Treats and prevents flea infestations. Eliminates ticks and controls tick infestations. Treats lone star tick, Gulf Coast tick, American dog tick and brown dog tick.
