Description

Everblue Stabilised Chlorine Feeder is an all-in-one chlorine solution in a convenient floating dispenser. It disinfects pool water, clarifies for improved water quality, acts as an algaecide, and contains stabiliser to help protect chlorine from being degraded by the sun, making it especially effective during the hot summer months. For optimal pool care, maintain a pH level between 7.2 and 7.6 and test weekly. If the pH is too low, use Everblue Alkalinity Increaser and Everblue Soda Ash; if it is too high, add Hydrochloric Acid. Total alkalinity should remain between 80 and 120 ppm, while stabiliser levels should not exceed 50 ppm. During summer, pools should be filtered for a minimum of 12 to 14 hours per day, and during winter for 8 to 10 hours per day. One floater is suitable for pools between 30,000 and 60,000 litres, while pools larger than 60,000 litres should use two floaters. Shock treatment with Everblue Active Shock is recommended whenever required.
Before using the chlorine feeder, it is advisable to super-chlorinate the pool with Everblue Active Shock to achieve a chlorine residual level of 1 to 3 ppm. To prepare the floater, remove the perforated sleeve and peel off both “Remove Before Use” stickers. The dosage rate can be adjusted by rotating the base of the floater to expose the desired number of openings. Place the floater upright in the pool and allow it to fill naturally with water before floating freely. Do not fully submerge the floater or block the vent holes.
Chlorine demand will vary depending on factors such as water temperature, weather conditions, and pool usage. Warmer water and heavy bathing loads may require additional chlorine to maintain a residual level of 1 to 3 ppm. These dosage recommendations are intended as guidelines only. The floater typically lasts approximately four weeks and will begin to lean as the contents dissolve. When it tilts to roughly 45 degrees, it should be replaced to ensure effective sanitisation. A new floater can be added while the old one finishes dissolving, or the old floater can be opened at the base and any remaining fragments placed in the weir basket.
